Nega Soltan's Grave Descrated Again

Supporters of the Iranian Government have desecrated martyr Nega Soltan’s grave for the second time. Photographs obtained by The London Times show that Soltan’s face has been pockmarked by bullets, even though her grave if under constant security.

Government officials don’t want Soltan’s grave to become a shrine.

This is the second tombstone put in place by Ms Soltan’s family, after the first one was smashed in mid-November. The London Times named the young activist their Person of the Year.

A new documentary produced by Iranian state television claims that Ms Soltan was an agent of the US and Britain and that her death was a hoax. It suggests that she squeezed fake blood over herself as she lay on the pavement but was then shot dead by her fellow conspirators in the car that took her away — presumably to silence her. via Neda Soltan’s grave defaced as Iran issues new internet restrictions.
