Tzipi Livni Explains Her Vision of Israel | Palestine Solution
Sun, January 3, 2010
After finishing first in this year’s parliamentary elections, Israeli politician Tzipi Livni refused to join a right-wing coalition led by Benjamin Netanyahu. Finishing first among the people, she’s not in the government. Recently Netanyahu has courted Livni. Presently she still says “no” to joining the Israeli government.
Recently I’ve read that men are ideology driven and women want to make things work. Women are the pragmatists, according to many analysts. I would have guessed the opposite, and so much makes sense if I see men as ideologues and women as doers. (Note: Sarah Palin proves that women can be ideologues, too.)
The Wall Street Journal interviewed Tzipi Livni before the holidays and Nehatanyahu’s offer.
Published today, Tzipi Livni uses the opportunity to explain why she supports a two-state solution and giving up lands to make peace in the land of Palestine.
