Catholic Sex Abuse | Vatican's Exorcist Says 'Devil's Living at the Vatican'

Just in via the London Times. The chief exorcist of the Vatican Father Gabriele Amorth, a man who says he has dealt with 70,000 cases of demonic possession in 25 years, says that “the Devil is at work inside the Vatican”.

No word yet on whether the Devil has moved in permamently at the Vatican or just long enough to cause some serious embarassment over all new cases of sex abuse — popping up all over Europe.

Father Amorth says the problem is  “cardinals who do not believe in Jesus, and bishops who are linked to the Demon”.

I’m in way over my head on the particulars of Pope Benedict’s new challenge of getting the Devil out of the Vatican. All I know is that it will be Eve’s fault any day now.

Trust me, the guys will pin this one on WOMAN. The official Vatican slut girl Eve, who brought down all these good men eons ago, will appear any moment.

There is no more rationality in the conversation, and I’m waiting for a Michael Jackson-style global apology, everyone holding hands with an executive choir chorus: “The Devil made them do it.”

I don’t mean to be irreverent, but as I wrote last week, this Divine Comedy is getting sadder by the minute.  I really think we need some women in Rome and I don’t mean as chambermaids. Anne
