Lauri Eisenberg styles yet another editorial honoring the style of Mexico’s most famous and influential painter Frida Kahlo. Anna Schilling plays the painter with a world famous style in Mike Filinow’s editorial for Vogue Mexico’s November issue.
When the painter died in 1954, Frida’s husband Diego Rivera locked up his wife’s clothes in the bathroom. The following year, he donated their house in Mexico City and all its contents to the Mexican people. Frida’s clothes were not exhibited until now and in Canada at the Art Gallery of Toronto.
