NYTimes T’s Horacio Silva writes about Lily Kwong that she, photographer friend Elle Mulliarchyk, and stylists Laura Jones and Felicia Garcia-Rivera were inspired by Old Masters paintings — everything from light to the gestures — when they planned this fashion editorial. David Lynch movies enter the photographic vision as well. “We really wanted to marry the two.” says Kwong.
