Anti-feminist Marion Cotillard Shines In Ben Hassett Images For Madame Figaro

Actor Marion Cotillard, one of France's most famous muses since 2008, has been in the hot seat, after denying the existence of sexism in Hollywood and the need for feminism in the world.  Cotillard says she believes in women's rights but not confronting men -- as Jennifer Lawrence has done -- where inequality exists. It seems that Cotillard embraces the idea that men should not discriminate against women, but when it happens, the most important goal is to protect harmony between the sexes and not be divisive or create any separation, says the actor.

For those struggling to understand Cotillard's perspective, she added in her Porter Magazine interview about her upcoming debut of 'Macbeth' with Michael Fassbender, reflections on the power of fashion.

"It's become like a crazy thing that some people can have power if they are well-dressed. Which is okay."
"I mean there is room for this, Otherwise it wouldn’t exist. But I like to see [fashion] as a form of art more than a business."

There seems to be a bit of faulty logic, Marion Cotillard, in your thinking but we will attribute it to jet lag of some kind. You can't possibly mean that because an institution exists -- say slavery -- that there should be room for it; otherwise it shouldn't exist. Then again, the French have their own unique set of philosophical principles, ones we generally admire.
