Rielle Hunter Owes Mark Seliger A BIG Apology

Could we please stop blaming men for everything in life and just focus on the big issues? Let’s stick with war, peace, and violence towards women.

Perhaps a century from now we will have time to listen to poor, sensually-confused Rielle Hunter’s revelation that she “cried for two hours” after seeing the photos in which she looks “repulsive”, accompanying her 10,000 word interview with GQ Hello, America, My Name Is Rielle Hunter.

Hunter told Barbara Walters that she trusted the photographer Mark Seliger and just “went with the flow”. via CBS News

Continuing, Hunter expected Seliger to take “classy” photos. 

Perhaps this is some weird publicity stunt from the woman who carries a pretty mean camera herself, based on stories about her infamous “sex tape’ with lover and father of her child John Edwards. 

For starters, many people don’t find the photos that decadent.

All I can say is that when you don a white shirt, no visible panties (thong would work well in these photos, so who knows) and assume the poses — well, what did she expect?

This woman is in the business of making images, and I say ‘foul’ on behalf of photographer Mark Seliger.

Did Mark Seliger make Giselle look like a slut girl in 2000? I don’t think so.

Is this photograph of Jennifer Lopez by Mark Seliger immoral, lacking in taste or somehow reducing women? I don’t think so.

Is anyone appalled over Mark Seliger’s photo of Heidi Klum remake for GQ?

Simply stated, Rielle Hunter has embarassed herself, feigning a self-righteous propriety that’s out of bounds and totally off the mark.  If Rielle Hunter is struggling with her own self-image, in the aftermath of the John Edwards scandal, that’s her problem.

As a professional imagest herself, to blame the photographer for a set of photos that would be preferably be celebrated as testimony to Yummy Mummys everywhere, Hunter pulls the ultimate negative stunt for all women, blaming the photographer for capturing her own beauty and sensuality in a set that she helped engineer.

Hunter had the desired interview scoop and was holding the cards. It was her story. Had she wanted to be photographed in a navy blue suit, I’m sure Seliger would have made her look beautiful.

Simply stated, Rielle Hunter owes Mark Seliger a BIG apology. Anne
