J'Adore Antes do Amanhecer
I discovered this beautiful video yesterday, writing in my Journal, about life falling into place. 24 hours later, the sound transports me higher still.
I sped to an exquisite wonderfulness last evening, crossing the Hudson in my yellow water taxi.
Perhaps it was me, so fresh from the posting, but I flew like a seagull into a warm cocoon across the water … the sea, the stars, all of New York and more enfolding me.
Reflecting now, I am left with warm tears and the deliberate desire to leave a trace of these waves that wash over me.
“La dolce vita” demands that on occasion we taste life deeply, thoroughly and without reservation. I drank the wine last night, so full-bodied, so memorable that I only hope there is a second bottle in the restaurant’s wine cellar. I was not intoxicated drinking this nectar of the Gods, but only barely so.
Sometimes, Private Reserve stock is meant to be enjoyed only once, so that we don’t become gluttonous about the pleasures of life. I truly hope this is not the case, with this uniquely memorable Pinot Noir.
Love, Anne
