Laura Ponte As Frida Kahlo, Photographed by Iris Brosch
One of my favorite finds this weekend (besides feanne on FFFFound!), is this fashion editorial, inspired by Frida Kahlo. Feanne clipped the photo, from a fashion editorial “Sur les traces de Frida Kahlo`officiel” from foto_decadent over at livejournal.
Following the link to foto_dacadent delivers a gorgeous WOW … from this 1998 Officiel magazine (can’t find a website): Socialite and Spanish model Laura Ponte, photographed a la Kahlo, by Iris Brosch.
Enjoy a few photos from foto_decadent’s montage and visit there to see the rest.
Your Anne has a love affair with the real Frida Kahlo (see my winter Journal write on Inspiration).
For now I’m under the hypnotic spell of these new digital communities, ones we will investigate in the coming days.
Memo to myself: get out any explore more, Anne. Digital design culture is exploding.
Now if I only had the time, I’d dig into the 20,000 digital photos of fashion editorial sitting on my Apple G5. I always knew they would eventually be good for something.
Love,
Anne
