International Herald Tribune fashion critic Suzy Menkes will be awarded the Fiorino d’Oro honor given by the Municipality of Florence to people who have contributed to social and cultural development. The award will be bestowed on the writer of over 1.7 million words for the Trib, where she’s been fashion editor since 1988. via Style.com
