J'Adore: Stuart Semple's Pink Smiley Faced Happy Clouds
Anne here. Let’s get this straight. I HATE yellow smiley-faces. I hate emotcions.
Being a hater of fake smiley faces, I adore Stuart Semple’s pink smiley faced clouds.
2057 plump, pink faces made from helium, soap and vegetable dye filled the air outside London’s Tate Museum on February 25th for one single purpose: to cheer people up.
Semple is already talking of a global, smiley cloud movement, spreading job around the atmosphere.
Produced by Hollywood-type special effects machines, the London Southbank clouds only “lived” for 30 minutes. During that time, adults smiled and children rank after the pink confections.
I will never say another disparaging word ever again about smiley faces, except that I definitely prefer them in pink. A
