America Flirts Seriously with Train Travel

Superfast bullet trains are not part of the American imagination. Critics question their financial viability in America, pointing out the reality that in the world, only a few train systems are profitable. We have no answers, except that President Obama hopped on the rails, with $8 billion to get America started.
