Water-Drinking Dieters Lose Significantly More Weight

RoseTracker| Weight loss can be so much simpler than people make it out to be. Researchers have confirmed that dieters who drank two glasses of water before each meal lost more weight than those who only counted calories.

Over three months, the water drinkers each lost an average of 15.5 lb, 5 lb more than the non-water drinkers, says Dr Brenda Davy, of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In an earlier study, Dr Davy found that water drinkers ate 75 to 90 fewer calories per meal, which adds up to almost a pound per month of saved calories.

The science is not complex. When one’s stomach is full of water, less food is consumed. The water needn’t be bottled water or fortified in any way. Good ‘ol tap water will bring dramatic results, if we can only find the inner convictions to walk to the water faucet. via Daily Mail.
