Vatican's Embrace of Big Bang Allows Women to Free Eve
Science Rehabs Original Sin Eve | Adam Dons Black Lace Panties AOC Sensually Yours
The troubling story Anne wrote a few days ago about Conservative columnist Dan Gainor’s obsession with looking for pubic hair peaking through lace panties on Maxim magazine, reminds us that large majorities of men remain obsessed with female body parts.
Inspired by sensually-discreet images of the female body, lensed by Robin Derrick for a short-lived publiation called Deliciae Vitae, Anne returns to one one of the core themes of Anne of Carversville, the intersection of religion and sexuality.
Anne argues that the Eve and Original Sin blame game gives men license to do whatever they damn well please around the world, calling out Eve as the woman behind the sin-throne. The devil incarnate, Eve is always on the prowl to bring down mankind.
In taking a firm stand in support of the big bang scientific theory of evolution a few weeks ago, the Vatican inherently rejected the Adam and Eve story. Pope Benedict would rather not discuss the topic, but Catholics worldwide can embrace evolution, rather than the Adam and Eve story, which was written by men to suport their vision of social organizations.
Feminists like Anne are jumping to the plate and grabbing their bats, ready to get the weight of the world’s ills off Eve and her sisters, once and for all.

Anne, if you truly wish to aid womankind then be careful, very careful and think deep and well outside the box, for the legend and the fact of original sin run far deeper into the human condition than what the religions descended from the tent of Abraham have made of it (freely admitted: a mess). Men do not need the story in Genesis to repress women, Japan had been patriarchal, brutally so, long before they ever heard of Christianity. To focus on banishing, destroying, any one religion's cultural role in maintaining such attitudes is to mistake tradition for the underlying cause, and with that mistake allow the cause to reform into a different tradition serving the same (if not worse) degrees of injustice.
I support your cause, but my approach is not the one you're familiar with. I will assert to you that in order to establish a wholesome balance between the genders, which is as much to say lay the foundations for peace on earth, it will be necessary to address and understand the factual form of original sin, how it impacts the human condition and how to minimize that impact. This is not a short subject, but if you are willing I would be honored to take part in a public discussion of it.
I understand your point Cyranos. And I've written often on misogyny in Japan. But I still say that disputing the scientific lack of facts around Genesis is valid, because two-thirds of American women believe that God is a "he" and watching their every move. American men don't believe this at all. Perhaps 30-40% as many men as women.
So there's the intellectual questions about the global patriarchy but also the pragmatic ones at hand here in America.
This is the question of my existence, frankly. I studied 5th century BC Greece at NYC, and within a 500 year history, dramatic changes came for women. From Socrates to Aristotle, women declined from being able to lead the Greek states in the mind of Socrates to being animals in need of a full-time caretaker under Aristotle.
Yesterday I'm reading Scientific American about the first fish impregnation 100 million years ago. The headline reads : The real sexual revolution. LOL . . . then again . . .
Of course, I would love to understand your philosophy Cyranos. If you just send me a note in contact Anne, I'll give you my email address. We can SKYPE or you initially direct me to some readings.
AOC is really growing quickly now, and while there's a lot of interest in the fashion editorials, we're dealing with women 18-25 and then very strongly 35-55, There is so much support to take on this topic, as an integrated part of the overall editorial voice of the website.
I would like very much to hear your thoughts. Anne
I should clarify that 1/3 of our readers are men. I always emphasize the women because I am honored -- to use your word -- that I have so much support among women, given my rather saucy, controversial nature.
But did the Vatican reject the MEANING of the Adam and Eve story? Do a search: The First Scandal Adam and Eve.
Aren't humans amazing? They kill wildlife - birds, deer, all kinds of cats, coyotes, beavers, groundhogs, mice and foxes by the million in order to protect their domestic animals and their feed.
Then they kill domestic animals by the billion and eat them. This in turn kills people by the million, because eating all those animals leads to degenerative - and fatal - health conditions like heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and cancer.
So then humans spend billions of dollars torturing and killing millions more animals to look for cures for these diseases.
Elsewhere, millions of other human beings are being killed by hunger and malnutrition because food they could eat is being used to fatten domestic animals.
Meanwhile, few people recognize the absurdity of humans, who kill so easily and violently, and then call for Peace on Earth.

"Cowardice asks the question, 'Is it safe?' Expediency asks the question, 'Is it politic?' Vanity asks the question, 'Is it popular?' But, conscience asks the question, 'Is it right?' And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because one's conscience tells one that it is right."
