DolceTracker| We’re staying clear of the Vanity Fair Hollywood Cover controversy, having enough controversy already on our plate. Our only issue with these fragile-looking, sweet young things is that a public focus on painting one’s nails, when the world’s in a meltdown only underscores anything ever said about the idle rich.
VF looks like they want a return to the era of the robber barons. That was the last decade and if the world can stop them, every attempt is in the works. We find the cover to be very off-message.
As for all those lily-white girls, VF readers commented that Ebony doesn’t put whites on the cover. And the beat goes on. I only know that all-white food is bad for your health. As for starlets, I’ll let Hollywood decide. Anne
