Dots| Spike Lee prides himself on doing the right thing. We bumped into the director today, following the trail of Absolut-sponsored bus stops in Chicago. A few weeks ago, we wrote about coming problems for cola, cigarettes and other not-needed products that sap the limited budgets of folks in developing countries.
That argument just came home to America, when Brooklyn teens living in Bedford-Stuyvesant called Spike Lee on the carpet for promoting Absolut when he knows there’s a problem with alcoholism in Bed-Stuy. Read on in Anne’s Trend column Dots.
