Guap n’ Drop: A target that is extremely difficult to take down. She probably doesn’t drink very much and she probably has a high socioeconomic status. Simple tactics wont impress her. It will take a good amount of effort and time to crack these. You are going to have to open up the wallet (guap) and spend (drop) a good amount on her to finally get to the pie. Better hope it has great grip for all your diligent work.

Famous Quotes About Those Damn Feminists & Women's Libbers

Quotes About Feminists and Women’s Rights | Women’s Liberation AOC Sexual Politics

In honor of International Women’s Day, we give you:

I submit to you that the feminist movement is the most dangerous, destructive force in our society today. […] My analysis is that the gays are about 5% of the attack on marriage in this country, and the feminists are about 95%. […] I’m talking about drugs, sex, illegitimacy, drop outs, poor grades, run away, suicide, you name it, every social ill comes out of the fatherless home. ~Phyllis Schlafly

And — who knew, except that he married a very intelligent woman —

Nobody will ever win the Battle of the Sexes.  There’s just too much fraternizing with the enemy.  ~Henry Kissinger

And lots more like this one:

I asked a Burmese why women, after centuries of following their men, now walk ahead.  He said there were many unexploded land mines since the war.  ~Robert Mueller

The Girl Effect | World's Only Hope of Seeing 2100 Alive & Well

Let me also republish former US President Jimmy Carter’s address to the Parliament of the World’s Religions, made on December 2009 in Melbourne Australia.

We stand firm in our belief that religious fundamentalism — whether Catholicism, Southern Baptist, other Christian religions, Islam, and Orthodox Judaism Jerusalem style is the greatest threat to women’s lives and wellbeing worldwide. Anne

Conservative Kay S Hymowitz On 'Manning Up' In A Modern World

Image | Erin Patrice O’Brien for The Wall Street JournalRedTracker|  For starters, Manhattan Institute Scholar, contributing editor of City Journal and Conservative pundit Kay S. Hymowitz doesn’t look anything like the photo above.

Hymowitz, author of two books on childhood, family issues, poverty and cultural change in America will see her third ‘Manning Up: How the Rise of Women Has Turned Men Into Boyspublished on March 1.

The visual image above of Kay S. Hymowitz suggests a career-minded, bitchy feminist 30-year-old woman who wants to know why today’s young men just can’t get it together.

In reality, based on her excellent interview in today’s WSJ ‘Where Have the Good Men Gone?’ the author Hymowitz is a grey-haired women of a certain age, mother of three grown children and living with her husband in Brooklyn.

Photoshopping a generation from Kay Hymowitz’s looks sets an expectation of gender competition that doesn’t exist. It also denies her acquired wisdom and perspective on this very important topic.

In spite of the title of her book ‘Manning UP: How the Rise of Women Has Turned Men Into Boys’, Hymowitz doesn’t pit men and women against each other in her essay or in her taped interview.

Acknowledging the huge influence of the women’s movement on men’s lives, this authority on American family life spends more time talking about the challenges for today’s young people living in a global economy then she does typical Conservative arguments that American women have emasculated American men.

Chris Matthews | Why Will a 'Guy', Not a 'Gal' Invent the Next Sputnik?

RedTracker| Hey, Matthews. Why is it a guy who will invent the next Sputnik? That’s what you just said on Hardball. Guy is the only word in your patriarchal, man-world vocabulary. You just said: “We need a guy to invent the next Sputnik.”

I am up to my Sarah Palin, caribou-shooting, disgusted eyeballs with the language of men on television.

Chris Matthews on MSNBC; John King on CNN. Their world is all guys. Guys, guys, guys. guys. The pronoun ‘she’ does not exist in their vocabularies. TIME magazine asks 3 women and 13 guys if America has lost its civility when a vast majority of men have created this mess.

Could we not cough up an extra woman or two? Is it so damn difficult?

The guys will fix America, says Chris Matthews, while the little ladies do as we are told. If you think liberal, Democratic men are de facto more supportive of women leaders, think again. Most liberal men in America are the same hard-asses as the conservative men they critique, when the subject is the existence of women as thinking beings.

TIME Asks 3 Women, 13 Men If America Is A Less Civil Society?

French Finance Minister Christine Lagarde says women bring less ego to negotiations and civil institutions.RedTracker| Fifty years after the second wave of the women’s liberation movement in America, TIME magazine asks 3 women and 13 men Are We Becoming An Uncivil Society?

The reminders of just how far women haven’t come in America is inescapable, given the general consensus among researchers of social behavior worldwide that women leaders promote more cohesive agendas and action plans.

For reasons unknown to us, TIME magazine prefers to get male opinions on how to fix what is generally considered a global male problem.

French Minister of Finance Christine Lagarde, number 43 on the Forbes powerful people list, says that leadership is about psyche. Her cardinal thesis, which she states openly: Women are better leaders than men.

1915 Massachusetts | Women's Vote Is the Enemy of Christian Civilization

RedTracker| In case you thought women’s rights just became a ‘socialist’ issue or a commie feminist agenda in America, women’s rights have always been opposed by Conservatives. Any rights for women have been opposed as detrimental to Christianity.

US Supreme Court Justice Scalia reminded American women earlier this month that we have no rights to speak of under the Constitution. All rights for women should be legislated by the 85% of men who control Congress and not interpreted into existence by courts, says Justice Scalia.

Jacque Reid & the Mama Grizzlies | Are American Women Inherently Conservative?

RedTracker| Skimming Foreign Policy, we noticed ‘When She Brings Home the Bacon’, written by Jacque Reid for The Root. This was hardly the article we went looking for on Foreign Policy.

Given our prior post on the Mama Grizzlie, conservative-led goal of getting American women back in the kitchen, so that men can fulfill their ‘natural’ roles, we paused to read the Reid piece which begins:

“Let’s keep it real. Do I want to marry a man who pays for everything? Absolutely. And I would bet most women want the type of marriage that will allow them the option of working or staying home.”

Dump Your Wings | Run Fast From Tea Party Exorcists and the Bible Brigade

Will Carine Roitfeld Use Candice Swanepoel For An Angels Shootout in Vogue Paris? Sensually Yours

I wrote in my Sensually Yours column this morning that if I had a young daughter, I would begin working to get her dual citizenship. Simply stated, I am terrified for the future of our young women, not just because of losing our reproductive rights but because of a strong evangelical movement to make men the boss again in America.

The women of America will be split into two camps in the coming years: the Mama Grizzlies and the Snake Charmers. You probably know where I fit in.

I’m not cocky or cute in writing these words. When the state of Utah passes a bill that made miscarriage a felony and it only escaped becoming law because the governor vetoed the bill, I’m very frightened for the young women of America.

The militias are coming for us, making a travesty of the founding principles of this country. Pope Benedict is close behind. And my alma mater Victoria’s Secret wants women to wear wings so big that we can’t run fast from the exorcist in hot pursuit of the devil in us.

Tea Party Propoganda

This is not the America that I know and love, but it is the America I fear we are becoming.

Are American Moms Doomed To A Life Of Perfect Parenting?

RedTracker| Erica Jong wrote a pro-motherhood, anti-perfect parenting for today’s Wall Street Journal. Her essay comes weeks before French writer Elizabeth Badinter’s controversial tome about the oppressive nature of modern motherhood is published in English.

Anne weighs in from all angles, introducing her new lens for analysis of American feminism. The future, says Anne, is about the Mama Grizzlies and the Snake Charmers. Read on: Erica Jong | Sarah Palin | Elizabeth Badinter| Good Mothers Have Rights, Too.

UN Releases 5-Year Update on The World's Women

Beyond the Veil| The UN has released its report The World’s Women 2010: Trends and Statistics. The report covers several broad policy areas – population and families, health, education, work, power and decision-making, violence against women, environment and poverty and is designed to track the Beijing Declaration adopted in 1995 by the Fourth World Conference on Women.

It’s generally agreed that the goals of the Beijing Declaration supporting women will not be met by 2015.

Really and Truly | American Feminism Is Headed for a Shakedown

RedTracker| Anne has a philosophy expressed at Anne of Carversville that the ‘older sisterhood’ is about to step up to the plate on a host of women’s issues.

Susan Faludi argues in this month’s Harpers that ‘young feminists are frivolous fashionistas who choose Lady Gaga over Gloria Steinem and consumerism over activism, thereby betraying the cause—and their second-wave mothers, real and figurative.’ via The Nation

Feminism, Abortion, Dragonfly Doves & Terry Jones

HopeTracker| American men are more likely to be Conservative than American women. We are more likely to be Democrats, and solution-oriented progressives or moderates.

Digging beneath the surface of the Koran-burning story this morning, feminism rears its head. On a positive note, Joy Revels, owner of a small t-shirt printing company in Gainsville called Dragonfly, is on record having refused to print “Islam is of the devil” for profit.

HP CEO Mark Hurd Fired Over Expenses, Not Sexual Harassment

RedTracker| Jodie Fisher, a 50-year-old sometimes actress, says that her intention of filing a sexual harassment charge against then HP CEO Mark Hurd was not to have him lose his job.

In asking Mr. Hurd to resign as chief executive of Hewlitt Packard, the board said he hadn’t violated company policies regarding sexual harassment but was guilty of significant corporate expense account irregularities.

Family Demographers Ask Key Questions | Are Fathers Necessary?

RedTracker| The July issue of The Atlantic focuses on the role of men in the 21st century, asking The End of Men | Is the Future a Women’s World?

Equally relevant is Pamela Paul’s short essay Are Fathers Necessary? The aim of this essay isn’t so much to refute the relevance of fathers in the lives of kids, as to focus on the available data on the role of gender in child rearing.

Does Man Rule All Nature, Dolphins & Women?

GreenTracker| In ancient Greece, dolphins were seen as messengers for the gods. And while there was no knowledge of the fact that dolphins have lived on Planet Earth for 38-50 million years by current estimates, the mammals were revered and awarded ‘person’ status.

We explore the connections between the historic loss of animal rights and women’s rights in Returning Ancient Greek ‘Person’ Status to Dolphins, along with the growing international movement to return the dolphin to its previous status as a ‘person’.
