An important new study out of UC Berkeley confirms a key thesis at Anne of Carversville, regarding the size 0 body debate and fashion’s support of ‘Black Swan’ bodies. An upcoming essay will connect all the research dots in a new argument against fashion monasticism.
Today we share the information that ballet dancers reported responses to visual stimulii designed to trigger their emotions, but their bodies showed no expected physiological responses. Long-term meditators showed the strongest correlations between reported responses and the wires actually recording their physiological responses. Read on.
