Sephora Joins The Body Shop | Green & Women Friendly Values

DolceTracker| The Body Shop’s limited edition Brush With Fashion makeup collection is a new cruelty-free, fashion-forward makeup and accessories collection, made from Community Fair Trade ingredients. The fabulous packaging was a collaboration between the Body Shop brand and the top-rated London College of Fashion.

 

Body Shop & Sephora

The Body Shop announced earlier in the week their collaboration with Sephora on an exclusive, eco-friendly skin and body care line. The products will be sold in 170 of Sephora’s 230 US doors in early March, according to WWD.

Packaging on kits will detail The Body Shop’s story on ethical values, including using natural and sustainable ingredients, using 100-percent recycled packaging and raising awareness on causes such as combatting sex trafficking. Products will be merchandised “as a brand in a full bay presentation dedicated to The Body Shop,” said Kowalczyk. Preliminary sales of The Body Shop Mini Body Butters at Sephora (they entered the retailer’s Beauty to Go section Feb. 4) were so brisk that Sephora has already placed reorders.

We love The Body Shop body butters and applaud a great beauty brand that openly stands for controversial global problems like sex trafficking. It’s not surprising that LVMH-owned Sephora is also willing to stand for these values in this new collaboration.

LVMH is very committed to global development issues including sustainability and green living.
