GlobalFutures In what will be my last reflection on religion and missionaries for awhile, unless all heck breaks lose with the Idaho 10, I challenge Harvard University on their failure to see the importance of religion in American and global politics. Harvard may argue that we’re living in the age of reason, but I find the role of religion in every aspect of daily life to be growing exponentially.
I try to give the ostrich a kick in the butt, given his Harvard head is buried in quicksand. We also bring close to discussions around this week’s NYTimes Magazine article on the question of how the founding men in the country envisioned the role of religion in civic life and politics — and where that leaves women.
