Any man who knows how to navigate the female mind understands the power of a kind word or twelve, a love pat on the fanny (well that works with me), or brushing the hair out of my eyes (I’m hooked).
We ladies love feeling special.
So do cows.
By giving a cow a name and treating her as an individual, farmers can increase their annual milk yield by almost 500 pints. I should mention that these are British cows, but we have no reason to assume that the “you’re my special girl” effect won’t work in America.
