Red Wine Promotes Physical Exercise Ability In Old Rats
RoseTracker| Searching for more health benefits of red wine, a new study examined whether intake of red wine polyphenols prevents aging-related impairment of vascular function and physical exercise capacity.
The test group was 12, 20 and 40 week-old rats, and the results were positive. The red wine polyphenols (RWP) rats had improved endothelium (inner lining of blood vessels) function, experienced normalized oxidative stress and improved aging-related decline in physical exercise.
