We just point out that many other factors fall into line as well. Looking at the lists, countries with strong gender equity scores prefer less macho men. Strongly religious countries prefer more macho men. Those same countries have lower health standards, especially in women’s health. This analysis includes America, who prefers macho men and is sliding backwards each year in gender equity.
