No Nonsense Bundanoon Bans Bottled Water

GreenTracker| Is the Australian Highlands village vote in Bundanoon to ban bottled water, the cap of a much larger anti-bottled water deluge?

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that the State Government has followed Bundanoon’s lead, requesting that government agencies and citizens stop drinking bottled water and self-monitor each other.

The Premier, Nathan Rees said: “As water minister, I conducted a survey of 300 people with Ian Kiernan from Clean Up Australia, which dispelled the myth that bottled water tastes better.”

“The reality is that the majority of people preferred tap water over spring or purified water in a blind taste test.”
