GreenTracker| President Obama has directed the formation of a new federal agency to monitor global climate change data. Called NOAA’s Climate Services, the agency is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. See NOAA’s new website.
Amid growing concerns of a ‘McCarthyesque’ behavior by politicians like Sen. James M. Inhofe, Oklahoma Republican and a chief skeptic of global-warming claims who is considering asking the Justice Department to investigate whether any of 17 climate scientists who receive taxpayer-funded grants falsified data, some scientists like Stanford University researcher Paul R. Ehrlich, says that cllimate scientists must fight back.
