Meg Whitman Releases Anti-Arizona Bill Spanish TV Ad

HopeTracker| Meg Whitman is moving away from some of the conservative silences in her primary campaign on Arizona’s controversial immigration bill. Whitman has released her first California-governor campaign ad in Spanish. It will run during today’s World Cup match between Mexico and France. Politico provides some translation:

“She respects our community,” says the ad’s narrator, according to a Spanish text provided to La Opinion’s Pilar Marrero. “She’s the Republican who opposed the Arizona law and opposed Proposition 187,” say the ad, referring to the 1994 initiative — later ruled unconstitutional — to bar illegal immigrants from receiving public health care and education.

Whitman will struggle with the Hispanic vote, says La Opinion’s Pilar Marrero, “adding that many of the positions Whitman continues to hold — including her opposition to “comprehensive immigration reform and to subsidies for illegal immigrant college students “aren’t accepted in the Hispanic community.”

Just another RINO !

I cannot vote for her now! Too bad, cuz I was planning to!

She just doesn't get what's going on!
