McCain Reverses Climate Change Support

HopeTracker| Politico reports that Republican Senator John McCain calls Sens. Lindsey Graham and Joe Liberman’s climate bill “horrendous”, saying “Obviously, they are going nowhere.”

Once a proponent of the climate bill, McCain’s position is viewed as a major reversal. “I wouldn’t be here on this issue without him,” said Graham, a South Carolina Republican who spent much of last fall campaigning for McCain. “He’s the guy that introduced me to the climate problem.” via Politico
