Laura Dekker Sets Sail for Portugal, Then the World

RedTracker| Laura Dekker set sail for Portugal today on hew newly outfitted Guppy. Laura’s father is with her and will part company in Portugal, as she set off on her global adventure.

Note that Laura’s voyage is proceeding differently than those of other young people. Laura will stop in ports around the world, where she will see her family and do repairs on her boat.
