Ines de la Fressange Most Chic Woman in Paris

Ines de la Fressange has triumphed over Carla Bruni as the most Chic Woman in Paris, representing the “ultimate chic, urban classiness, and unflappable elegance” of the Parisian woman.

Inès de la Fressange, 2009 via WikipediaInès de la Fressange is a well known figure on the Paris fashion circuit and former muse to Mr. Chips at Chanel who fired her — just for the record —  in 1989. The falling out had nothing to do with either Madame de la Fressange’s eating habits or her age.

Inès was Marianne. If you don’t know that story, I will fill you in shortly. Inès de la Fressange deserves her own Smart Sensuality feature because she looks so impossibly gorgeous, with that French woman’s “je ne sais quoi” attitude and no botox.

It’s impossible to hate her; Inès is divine, unlike Mr. Chips or Mr. Lauren or Mr. Laboutin.

All I ask is a women’s health discussion, with a psychiatrist present for both sides. Inès de la Fressange can be the moderator, once the medical facts are on the table. Perhaps the guys are right. I’ll wait for further input. Anne
