HP CEO Mark Hurd Fired Over Expenses, Not Sexual Harassment

RedTracker| Jodie Fisher, a 50-year-old sometimes actress, says that her intention of filing a sexual harassment charge against then HP CEO Mark Hurd was not to have him lose his job.

In asking Mr. Hurd to resign as chief executive of Hewlitt Packard, the board said he hadn’t violated company policies regarding sexual harassment but was guilty of significant corporate expense account irregularities.

“Mark and I never had an affair or intimate sexual relationship,” Ms. Fisher said. “I have resolved my claim with Mark privately, without litigation, and I do not intend to comment on it further.” Mr. Hurd reached a settlement with her Thursday, according to another person familiar with the matter. via WSJ
