Harvard Lecturer Tai Ben-Shahar's Keys to Happiness
DolceTracker| Harvard lecturer and positive psychologist Tai Ben-Shahar shares his view of happiness on Big Think and also in an NPR interview. In 2006 his class was the most widely-attended series of lectures at Harvard. We have no word on whether or not the global economy has impacted the numbers of Harvard students taking happiness classes.
Tai Ben-Shahar’s emphasis on the concept of ‘time affluence’ is gaining popularity as Americans, and to a lesser extent Europeans, trade material wealth for richer human relationships. In fact, America is a case study in whether the most materialistic country on earth can become happiner with fewer goods and more time to enjoy experiences that come without a price tag.
