Gun Love | Ban Olivia Munn's Lace Panties But Not Assault Weapons

HopeTracker| It is a well established fact that Conservatives buy more porn, watch more porn and are generally obsessed with protecting the world from porn — except for their own reading and online habits.
Being purer and in better control of themselves than the rest of us, Conservatives can be trusted with a little erotica on the side.
Dan Gainor, Vice President of Business & Culture at the Media Research Center is distraught over this image of Olivia Munn on Maxim.
Frankly, we don’t even like Maxim much, but to have anyone describe this image as follows, confirms the level of repressed obsession Conservatives have with the female body and pornography. Very scary!
Gainor tells Fox News:
It’s disgusting … Maxim has moved their magazine from tawdry to full-on pornography … Any store could have children coming in. If I were a parent, and I walked into a store and saw that cover, I would make a scene until the manager hid it.
Any store could have children coming in. If I were a parent, and I walked into a store and saw that cover, I would make a scene until the manager hid it,” Gainor said.
It’s about 90 percent statistically probable that the same man obsessed with porn will want no regulations on guns. One quick Google brought up Dan Gainor’s piece from yesterday Media Point Fingers at a Favorite Enemy — The Second Amendment.
Gainor doesn’t just slam the liberal media for wanting our gun control back. He quotes as many Republican media and politicos, as Dems and liberals, who are traitors in wanting a deeper understanding of America’s fixation on guns.
Americans left, right and center are wrong to believe in any restrictions on guns, says Gainor. But a lace panty should be banned from grocery stores all over America, because it will destroy the moral fiber of the country and to hell with freedom of speech.
Amazing logic. Just bloody amazing! And to think that God gave humans brains so we could think clearly. Anne

Anne, come on. You know a liberal cannot understand guns. They can't. To understand guns would mean they'd have to allow fact to destroy many of the very beliefs, the very hopes and dreams that make them liberal in the first place.
Now don't jump salty here. Believe me, I'm gonna pick on both sides of this debate before I head off to fix lunch and the liberals will actually fare better in the end.
Once a person actually understands why guns (weapons) are a necessary thing they can't be a liberal anymore. To cite one of the many reasons: because in understanding weaponry they'd have to admit society cannot protect them, that victim is the other name for someone who signs over their personal safety to society even if the police are never more than two minutes away. Those kind of facts, the ones that deal with the real world functional limits (engineering context) of society are very hard on liberalism.
Equally it is a fact that lace panties on a magazine cover (for one tiny example of the syndrome) are a critical necessity for the conservatives, that contrary to what they say protesting their addiction to supplemental libido they simply cannot exist as conservatives without a constant in-feed of erotica running down to hard core porn. Where hard core liberals must defend their illusions and delusions concerning society to remain liberal hard core conservatives must defend their illusions and delusions concerning elements of their deepest selves to maintain their prime internal self definition of "conservative." The conservatives have the harder job, actually, maintaining the self-deceptions involved in the triple folded illusions of innocence and ignorance that certify (to them) their own moral right to remain interested in sex as adulthood empowering defiance of the monster maternal wall builders (think Pink Floyd). The essay to actually lay out the convolutions of the relationship between the conservatives and lace panties (sexuality) is way, way beyond the scope of a comment block, but that should get you in the ball park if you'd care to think on it from that perspective.
Understanding the relationship between liberals and guns is actually much, much simpler than understanding the relationship between conservatives and lace panties, even though both groups are heavily, heavily dependent on those psycho-social force vectors to maintain the definition of their respective collective entities.
