Google Teams Up with America's Spy Agency in Cyber Crime Attacks

GlobeTracker| The Electronic Privacy Information Center has filed a freedom of information request seeking details of Google’s decision to seek help and collaboration with America’s National Security Agency in understanding the cyber strategy of China’s recent attack on Google.

“Google and NSA are entering into a secret agreement that could impact the privacy of millions of users of Google’s products and services around the world,” the centre’s executive director Marc Rotenberg told the New York Times. via The Guardian

On a practical note, given NSA’s admitted inability to protect America’s security infrastructure from a cyber attack, sceptics question the wisdom of NSA being the best source of help in troubleshooting Google’s problems.
