Golf Becomes An International Women's Game

Omega also sponsors Wie.

Wie, who recently turned 20, is 14th in the Rolex World Ranking her rookie season. Perhaps POTUS would like to enjoy a round a golf with an upcoming Michelle. via Gulf News

The US Olympic Committee isn’t the only organization with organizational leadership problems.

The LPGA Tour is looking to newly named commissioner Michael Whan to repair a women’s professional golf organization sorely in need of more than just a quick fix, according to Examiner.com.  

The LPGA organization lost several tournament sponsors under Carolyn Bivens’ iron-fisted watch. Critics say that women’s golf must also work to build a long-term franchise around the game. This may be a generational issue that time alone will fix, as girls and young women flourish in golf unlike their mothers and grandmothers. A
