Gallup | Nearly 20% of American Workers Underemployed
HopeTracker| A new Gallup poll of 20,000 American workers found that nearly 20% of them — or 30 million workers — lacked adequate employment in January and struggled to make end meet in response to reduced resources and bleak job prospects.
The Gallup poll presents a much bleaker picture of American employment than official data.
The underemployed spent 36% less on household purchases than employed persons and 6 in 10 were not hopeful about job prospects. via NewsDaily.
