From Sodom & Gomorrah to Mexico | Asteroids in Action

A new task force has been established by the International Astronomical Union to seek out and track asteroids or comets that could pose a risk to Earth in the future. via NASAWriting now that a large group of scientists have reviewed 20 years of scientific literature and concluded absolutely, positively that a large asteroid hit Mexico,  wiping out the dinosaurs. Note that a 2004 article on Discovery says that the Chicxulub crater couldn’t be the dinosaur-extinction event.

In 2010, scientists say it absolutely is.

Recently I watched a show about an asteroid also hit Sodom and Gomorrah, after scientists cracked the cuneform symbols on the Planisphere tablet. See FOX News| Researchers: Asteroid Destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Given the Biblical story about Sodom and Gomorrah, I’m not sure if Biblical scholars argue then that God sent the asteroid, or there was no asteroid at all. I’m digging. Anne
