From India President Obama Pays Tribute to Victims of Mumbai Attacks

Love | Peace Deciding to stay in the Taj Hotel in Mumbai, scene of the dreadful terrorist attacks of 2008, President Obama delivered a six-minute speech in which he paid tributes to people of Mumbai and India hailing their determination and resilience. 

Describing his visit to India as an “extraordinary honour”, he said he wanted to tell the people of India “how much we are looking forward to spending the next three days in this remarkable country and deepening the partnership between the two countries.”  via Times of India

We remember well waking up to the Mumbai terrorist attacks on Thanksgiving Day 2008 in America.

Because we are a deeply connected international audience at Anne of Carversville, Anne has pulled her reflections watching the TV coverage of the Mumbai assault of the Taj Mahal hotel.
