Fresh Flowers, Plants Could Live Longer with TDZ

GreenTracker| Flowers and potted plants may last much longer in the future, when sprayed low-dose concentrations of a compound known as thidiazuron (TDZ). In tests of green-house-grown cyclamen plants, leaves of TDZ-treated plants took longer to yellow and fall off than untreated ones. TDZ, is a synthetic version of a naturally occurring plant compound known as a cytokinin. via Science Daily
