French Women Trail Americans in Fatness By 40 Years

Body|Beauty|Sexy In spite of French author Mireille Guilan’s assertions, French women really do get fat, but not as fat as American women. Same story for men.

According to a new study published by TNS Sofres Healthcare and Swiss pharmaceuticals company Roche, 15.1 percent of France’s women are classed as clinically obese, while a further 26 percent are overweight. French men are also suffering under the weight of expanding middles with 13.9 percent of Frenchmen being obese and 38.5 percent overweight.

France is about 40 years behind the US combos of obese and overweight people run dramatically higher. via Reuters
