Clotilde Reiss, French student charged in Iran

GlobeTracker| Clotilde Reiss, a 24-year-old French woman, is among the 100 people appearing before the Revolutionary Court in Tehran today, as part of a mass trial.

Reiss, who was jailed on charges of spying linked to riots over last month’s presidential election, was detained at the airport over emailed photos that she took at the post-election demonstrations in Iran.

Iranian officials are generally but unspecificlly charging foreign governments and the electronic media, along with sites like Twitter and Facebook, with promoting unrest in Iran. via Al Jazeera
