Daily Smarts | Alexander McQueen New York Mania

Two FIT students with Amanda Brooks, VP of Women’s Fashion for Barneys‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty’ | Woman Reconsidered AOC Daily Smarts

DesignTracker| New York was in a state of McQueen mania in preparation for last night’s Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute’s gala honoring Alexander McQueen. We’re tracking all the details on our new Daily Smarts blog, created specifially for the Smart Sensuality woman: smart and sexy with heart.

Daily Smarts is fast to read and will feature links to stories we can’t cover in depth. The blog will scope around our websites, key news and policy media with a strong dose of fashion and style.

Anne of Carversville and Sensuality News are growing so fast — double the traffic in three months with no marketing — that I understand we have major websites on our hands. While we are technically a blog — because the websites are so associated with me — in fact we are becoming a mini Daily Beast.

Our three new blogs Image, Female and Humanity will direct us through all articles — in every channel — on those subtopics. Each day we add older posts and will eventually have 90% of content accounted for.

Our AOC reads are frequently complex and can be posted more than one place. These new blogs solve that challenge.

This main AOC page will continue to carry research in every sector, politics, and women’s news. And event like the John Galliano firing will be written here, because it is fashion industry news.

With this last blog Daily Smarts, Lisa and I can write on the run, tracking interesting reads without saying much. I tried one of these quickie reads before and readers loved it. I just couldn’t keep up at the time. Best to all. Anne

And Happy Birthday to Lisa!
