'Climategate' Review Clears Scientists | Suggests More Openness

An independent international panel has released its report on ‘Climagegate’, the climate scientists emails hacked prior to the Dec. 2009 Copenhagen summit on climate change.

Led by Muir Russell, the report found scientists at the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) did not unduly influence reports detailing the scale of the threat of global warming produced by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

The report advises that more and better responses to climate skeptics and freedom of information requests is mandatory among climate scientists. The entire report can be downloaded from CNN.
