Chinese Fingerprints Tied To Google Attack

GlobeTracker| An American computer security researcher has found evidence of Chinese fingerprints in the recent attacks against Google.

Joe Stewart, a malware specialist with SecureWorks, a computer security company based in Atlanta, said he determined the main program used in the attack contained a module based on an unusual algorithm from a Chinese technical paper that has been published exclusively on Chinese-language Web sites. via NYTimes

Stewart hasn’t ruled out the possibility that anti-Chinese hackers haven’t placed false traces in the program but his hunch is that the Chinese sponsored the ‘Trojan horse’ back door access into the Windows operating system.
