Canada Declares Pamela Anderson PETA Ad Sexist

Body|Beauty|Culture Pamela Anderson arrived in Montreal all set to unveil her new PETA campaign. At the last moment, local officials branded the ad sexist. We have no opinion. Perhaps the question is: if ran the ad as a dating ad, would people find it sexist?

The ad, which was due to be revealed outside of Montréal’s Place Jaques-Cartier will now be unveiled at Restaurant Globe Thursday morning as part of a news conference for the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival which Anderson is hosting. via Daily Mail

Not related to the PETA campaign, researchers in Australia have determined that people continue to eat meet by refusing to recognize that animals suffer being slaughtered. Research shows that people abandon their moral and ethical concerns about moral rights of the animals, rather than change their behavior. via Science Daily
