Bush United Israel Appeal Geneva Speech Cancelled Over Protests & Possible Criminal Charges

HopeTracker| Former President George W. Bush has cancelled a trip to Switzerland, where he was scheduled to give a February 12th address in Geneva, at a dinner honoring the United Israel Appeal. Human rights groups were planning to protest his appearance — which is the official reason given for the cancellation.

The Washington Post reports that the Center for Constitutional Rights, located in NYC, along with “several European human rights groups” were planning to not only file a complaint against the former president, but pressure Swiss prosecutors to open a criminal case against him.
