Arnold Schwarzenegger Admits Paternity Of Household Staff Child

RedTracker| The LATimes reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a child with a woman employed as household staff over a decade ago. The woman worked for the family for 20 years and retired last January. 

The Terminator’s wife Maria Shriver always believed that the child was fathered by the woman’s husband. Shriver moved out of their Brentwood mansion earlier this year and is working with financial and legal advisers concerning her next steps.

“After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago,” Schwarzenegger said Monday night in a statement issued to The Times in response to questions. “I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.

Schwarzenegger has long been accused of being a ‘groper’ and a womanizer, causing Shriver to defend him more than once.  Reports are that the former governor of California wants a reconciliation but Shriver has long been unhappy in her marriage.

The Terminator is in Cannes, where a bidding was took place for two more installments of the ‘Terminator’ franchise starring Schwarzenegger, who is also making an animated children’s series based on his life. No word if fathering his illegitimate child will be part of the children’s book.
