Arkansas Senator Blanche Lincoln Wins Primary Runoff

RedTracker| Arkansas Senator Blanche Lincoln retained her defense of her Democratic senate sat by beating Lt. Gov. Bill Halter in a very public rift in the Arkansas Democratic party.

Lincoln was targeted by the liberal wing of the national Democratic party for failing to support President Obama’s Policy goals. (Note: she doesn’t support their goals; her failure to support the President’s goals is unclear and debateable.)

Former President Bill Clinton did campaign for Blanche Lincoln in the closing days of her campaign and called her last night, saying “Blanche, you’re the new comeback kid.” Read on at CNN
