Love|Peace The NYTimes reports today that American activists will be joining the next Gaza-bound flotilla of ships coming from Europe, Canada, India, South Africa and parts of the Middle East. The boat, funded by Americans opposed to Israel’s blockade of Gaza wil be name “Audacity of Hope, the name of President Barack Obama’s second book.

Organizers must raise $370,000 in the next month to outfit the boat suitable for 40-60 people. More information is available at

This video report made by a supporter of the Turkish charity that helped lead a flotilla of ships bound for Gaza that was raided in May by Israeli commandos. Israel has cleared the commandos of any wrong doing. Reports are circulating that the highest levels of Turkish power funded the flotilla ship that became the scene of deaths and bloodshed.
