America Comes Last in Keeping AID Promises

GivingTracker| America resides at the bottom among developed countries who have kept their global aid commitments, signed onto in 2005. Granted there are major effectiveness challenges in AID and I vote for 110% accountability, which has been severely lacking.

Having said all that, America resides in last place, in keeping our agreed upon goal of contributing .7% of one-percent of out GNP to help poor countries. When you hear that America gives the most AID of any country in the world, that’s true.

But where it counts, in the amount of $ compared to total economy, the Scandinavians and other Europeans give far more than America. Read on in GivingTracker
