Women in the American Military

After all the shouting that women serving in combat zones would destroy the moral and effectiveness of the American military, women have not destroyed America’s military strength. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are the first in which American women have fought alonside men for years.

The fact that we don’t hear about the problems associated with women in the military combat zones is testimony to the effectiveness of their integration. America is producing a new generation of warrior women.
